It was a sad day in Sandy, Oregon when Chelsey Coutts discovered that $500 worth of sex toys had been stolen from her car.
Coutts says she had been amassing the goodies over the last two months in preparation for a friend’s birthday party.
“It was horrible. (The officer) kind of started laughing, but he felt bad so he asked me to describe everything in detail, and it was just horrible,” Coutts told KPTV. She is one of at least five victims in a rash of car break-ins in the area.
Haleigh Kirby, the bachelorette, said, “It broke my heart. Chelsey’s worked so hard for so long on all this, and she’s done a really good job, and it’s just sad to see someone come and take all that away like that. I don’t even know what they could use it for.”
Coutts said however that she’s already received donations to replace the stolen items. “It’s going to be fun no matter what,” said Kirby.
