See Michelle Obama confront the LGBT heckler

In new video out Wednesday, first lady Michelle Obama is seen dealing with the LGBT advocate who interrupted her talk at a DNC fundraiser last night.

The heckler, GetEQUAL activist Ellen Sturtz, was calling for the Obama administration to sign an executive order to prohibit federal contractors from discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.

The exclusive video was obtained by CNN and aired first on Jake Tapper’s “The Lead.”

According to the White House pool report and shown in CNN’s video, when Sturtz began to interrupt the first lady, Obama approached the heckler and threatened to leave.

“Listen to me or you can take the mic, but I’m leaving. You all decide. You have one choice,” Mrs. Obama says in the video, as reported by the pool Tuesday night.

According to the pool report, Sturz was escorted out of the event shouting, “lesbian looking for federal equality before I die.”

Sturtz later told The Washington Post in an interview that “[Obama] came right down in my face,” Sturtz said. “I was taken aback.”
