But sometimes he says something so ludicrously hilarious that to not reprint what he said would be unfair to the masses who deserve a good laugh every now and then.
In this case, West spent a few days with a writer from W Magazine and in that time period made some of the most ridiculous statements of all time. Here are the 10 most insane things Kanye said:
- The whole point of Kanye West, according to Kanye West is “[t]o make Kanye West as dope as possible.”
- “Man, I’m the No. 1 living and breathing rock star. I am Axl Rose; I am Jim Morrison; I am Jimi Hendrix.”
- On a fashion designer’s attempt to tell him what fashion shows to go to: “To even think they could tell me where I could and couldn’t go is just ludicrous. It’s blasphemous—to rock ‘n’ roll, and to music.”
- Kanye on his inability to articulate what Kanye is trying to say: “I’ll use the wrong word, so it goes from being really special to completely retarded.”
- “Visiting my mind is like visiting the Hermès factory. Shit is real. You’re not going to find a chink. It’s 100,000 percent Jimi Hendrix.”
