New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner’s sexting buddy has a history of trolling for older men online.
According to Seeking Arrangements, an online dating service for younger women (Sugar Babies) looking to connect with older, wealthier men (Sugar Daddies), Weiner sexter Sydney Leathers was active on the site for eight months, from August 2012 to April 2013.
Leathers has deleted her profile but, according to a press release from the dating site, “she was very popular on the site and found success as a Sugar Baby.”
TMZ obtained a screenshot of her profile and reports that sources tell the gossip site that Leathers has been on these kind of sites since she was 19, making from $200 to $4k to communicate, share pictures, and meet for dinner. The screen shot of her profile, published first at TMZ, shows her last log-in was August 29, 2012.
Leader’s profile describes her as a “22 year old college student from a small town” and looking for “a discreet, mutually beneficial relationship. Each person gets what they desire. How irresistible is that? ;)”
She sums herself up as “naughty but nice :)”
Seeking Arrangements recently released a survey of their “sugar babies’” opinion of Weiner, with 78 percent of babies ages 18-26 approving of the embattled and unfortunately named Brooklynite.
“Weiner has a way with women, as shown by our Sugar Babies’ approval rating,” Brandon Wade, Founder and CEO of SeekingArrangement.com, said in a statement. “Regardless of popular belief, not all women are turned off by Weiner. With a 78 percent approval rating, the mayoral candidate clearly has a hold of the younger female vote.”
