New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner performed a faux-Carribean accent while riding in a campaign float at the city’s West Indian Day Parade in Brooklyn on Monday.

Weiner’s ridiculous parade float featured a DJ and various other ethnic performers waving things.

“Anybody here from Jamaica?,” Weiner said into his microphone from atop the float in an accent. “Anybody here from Barbados? Anybody here from Guyana? Anybody here from Staten Island?”

The footage was captured by the NY Daily News.

Weiner, clad in a white buttoned-down shirt and blue pants, was just one of a number of mayoral candidates at the parade. Bill de Blasio, Christine Quinn, Bill Thompson, John Liu and Joe Lhota all made appearances, as did city comptroller candidates Eliot Spitzer and Scott Stringer.

Weiner, who led the mayoral race before new revelations emerged that he sexted with a woman named Sydney Leathers after his 2011 resignation from Congress for similar behavior, currently trails far behind in the polls. Weiner used the ethnic code name “Carlos Danger” during his online sex adventures.

De Blasio leads Quinn 36 percent to 21 percent, with Thompson clocking in at 20 percent, according to an August 22-27 Quinnipiac poll.
