Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun, who recently admitted his usage of PED’s after denying the allegations, is calling Brewers season ticket holders to apologize for his actions, CBS 53 reports.

It’s a great move from a PR standpoint, and for an all-star who now has some more time on his hands, Braun appears to be doing what he can to clean up his image.

At least one fan that CBS 53 reached out to praised the move by Braun, who is currently serving a 65-game suspension.

Pat Guenther, owner of a popular hangout for Brewers fans called Kelly’s Bleachers, told Braun, “You know Ryan, I think you’re an amazing athlete, and this speaks volumes to your character to reach out to a small-business owner like myself and let us know that you are going to do better.”

While Alex Rodriguez continues to make himself less appealing to fans all around the league by filing multiple appeals and lawsuits to spare himself from serving a full 211-game suspension, Braun, it appears, would like to remain a fan favorite.
