Former NBA star Dennis Rodman returned from a visit to North Korea Saturday without being killed or thrown in a gulag, bringing back news on the Kim family’s secret baby.
Kim Jong Un has a baby daughter named Ju-ae, Rodman said. He went on to say that “I held their baby Ju-ae and spoke with Ms. Ri [Sol-Ju, Kim’s wife… Kim is] a good dad and has a beautiful family,” The Guardian reports.
Rodman went on to give details on his five-day North Korean vacation, which included drinks on the beach and discussing plans for a future U.S.-North Korea basketball game.
This was Rodman’s second trip to North Korea this year, despite the extreme difficulty of visiting the country.
Upon returning home, Rodman dodged reporters’ questions about Kenneth Bae, an American prisoner in North Korea. “That’s not my job to ask about Kenneth Bae,” Rodman told reporters. “Ask Obama about that. Ask [former Secretary of State] Hillary Clinton.”
