Zac Efron went to rehab for substance abuse months ago, but nobody found out about it until now because he is not a fame whore.
E! News reports that the “High School Musical” actor “completed a stint in rehab” about five months ago, but instead of shooting a People magazine cover about “MY STRUGGLE WITH ADDICTION” and making rounds on the talk-show circuit, Efron quietly entered and exited rehab without anyone knowing.
“He’s healthy, happy and not drinking,” a “source” told E!. “He’s taking time to focus on working.”
Now that’s how you do rehab classily, Lohans.
Efron appears next as a brain doctor who tries to save President JFK in “Parkland,” in theaters Oct. 4.
