In case you forget to drink enough water during the day, a new water bottle that talks to a smart phone app could help remind you.
California company Oleo Apps Inc. recently launched an Indiegogo campaign to help manufacture a water bottle connected to a smart phone app.
The app connected to the water bottle — called the BluFit Bottle — would take into account the user’s weight and age, as well as the air temperature and humidity, in order to determine how much water the user needs.
“Through the app, you can enter information about yourself so that BluFit can determine your daily water needs and set up personalized reminders,” wrote Oleo Apps Inc. co-founders Jonathan Cook and David Morton.
Cook and Morton’s Indiegogo campaign is meant to help bring the water bottle to market.
