‘N Sync tweets Obamacare support

Font Size:

‘N Sync, a “boy band” popular in the mid-to-late 1990s, is now promoting Obamacare.

The since-disbanded pop group, which helped launch the successful career of Justin Timberlake, encouraged fans via Twitter to “learn all [they] can” about the law, which is set to go into effect on Tuesday.

“This is the only official twitter page for *NSYNC! Run by ‪@jcchasez ‪@jtimberlake ‪@Iamckirkpatrick ‪@realjoeyfatone & ‪@lancebass and their trusted peeps,” reads the Twitter page associated with the account.

The Obama administration has been enlisting the aid of celebrities to help promote the opening of Obamacare health care exchanges to young people, who are considered essential to the program’s success.

Open enrollment in the program begins tomorrow.
