After what feels like months of conservative outside groups pressuring Republicans over ObamaCare, Heritage Action has announced a $400,000 “Defund Obamacare” ad campaign targeting Democrats.
The ads target vulnerable “red state” Democrats Mark Begich (Alaska), Mark Pryor (Arkansas), Mary Landrieu (Louisiana) and Kay Hagan (North Carolina).
“Three days into the Democrats’ government shutdown, Senators Begich, Pryor, Landrieu and Hagan have a decision to make: stand with President Obama to protect a failed law that is hurting the country or reject partisan politics to protect the people they’re supposed to represent,” Heritage Action chief executive officer Michael A. Needham said in a statement.
This feels like a move in the right direction.
