Cleveland Browns fans are no strangers to disappointment. They have only been in one playoff game since 1999 and have had 19 starting quarterbacks in that time. Quarterback Brandon Weeden is the latest on the fans’ chopping block.

After the loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday, partially due to a sloppy interception thrown by Weeden, one fan took it upon himself to find a replacement for the suffering QB.

Seth Pae, 22, posted an ad on Craigslist reading, “Have you played pro football? College ball? High school? Pee-wee? Have you played Madden before? Do you know some of the rules of football? If yes, keep reading … We will take ANYONE!”

“If you can throw a ball, come apply,” he ad continues. “If you can’t, come anyway! We can teach you the basics … throwing the ball to the guy who has the same color shirt as you. Throwing the ball reasonably close to a receiver (who is) WIDE OPEN, throwing the ball more than (three) yards on third and 16.”

Pae told ESPN, “I was blowing off steam. We’ve had like 396 quarterbacks since 1999. It’s a bit much.” The Browns are 3-3 for the season, which isn’t terrible, but two of the wins came at the hands of backup quarterback Brian Hoyer when Weeden sat out for a sprained thumb.

Grumblings for Hoyer to take the starting position have begun.
