Planned Parenthood enlists celebs to promote Obamacare in clinic messages

While glitches continue to plague the Obamacare exchange sites, Planned Parenthood has enlisted the help of celebrities to try to get their clients to learn more about the new healthcare law.

Actresses Scarlett Johansson, Aisha Tyler, and Gabrielle Union have all recorded a phone message for Planned Parenthood to be used in clinics across the country as part of the abortion provider’s push to get more people enrolled in Obamacare.

“Did you know you may be able to enroll in new, more affordable health insurance plans?” Johansson, Tyler, and Union say in their phone message.

The message goes on to direct people to find out more information about Obamacare from Planned Parenthood.

“For more information about the health care law, the new plans available, and what to consider as a woman when choosing a plan, please visit plannedparenthoodhealthinsurancefacts.org,” the massage said.

Planned Parenthood has been a vocal supporter of the president’s signature healthcare law and some of the group’s affiliates have been tapped and funded to serve as “navigators” to help people enroll, much to the chagrin of pro-life lawmakers and Americans who cringe at the idea of additional funding going to the abortion giant.

The abortion provider launched a media campaign to educate and enroll more people in Obamacare on Oct. 1, the same day the Obamacare online exchanges opened.
