San Francisco tried to be conscientious to residents on Sunday by providing a hotline to call with concerns or complaints about the marathon. Unfortunately, those wishing to make their voices heard were met with sultry voices that charge $2.99 per minute.

The city’s 311 line redirected callers to a phone sex line instead. Callers were directed to call (800) RUN-NIKE, not the actual number, which is (866) RUN-NIKE, reports the San Francisco Chronicle.

Complaints were mainly made about noise from the event beginning early on a Sunday morning. The race began at 6:30, meaning loud announcements and music started around 5:30am.

No word on how many complainers stuck around to chat with the working girls.
