The Marines can be the few, the proud…the feminine?
The New York Post reports that the Obama Administration has proposed giving the Marine Corps’ famous covers — or hats, for you civilians — a more “unisex” look, but it’s left some Marines fuming:
“We don’t even have enough funding to buy bullets, and the DoD is pushing to spend $8 million on covers that look like women’s hats!” one senior Marine source told The Post. “The Marines deserve better. It makes them look ridiculous.”
The decision is mercifully not set in stone.
Officials will vote for or against the girly hats this Friday.
