Sometimes bravery shows itself in the face of adversity. One Georgia man learned this firsthand when his house caught fire and trapped his beloved booze inside.
Walter Serpit, who walks with a cane, feared for the the beer in his fridge and went back inside the burning building to grab it, KTRK reports. He managed to get a few cans out without sustaining injuries.
“I told them to get the kids out and everything, and me myself, being an alcoholic, I was trying to get my beer out,” he said. “You feel me?”
