The RNC’s ‘I’m ObamaCare’ ads spoof the Mac vs. PC meme

The RNC is out with a new ad campaign, spoofing the old Mac vs. PC commercials.

For some critics, the RNC could never do anything cool enough to please them. But, as these things go, this strikes me as pretty clever.

It may not be laugh-out-loud funny, but it’s at least charming. And, most importantly, you get the point — that the free market is sleeker and more efficient than a bloated bureaucracy.

By the way, the big guy brilliantly representing the ObamaCare website isn’t an actor — that’s actually Mike Mears, a movement conservative and an RNC staffer.

Eddie Scary reports that the ads will run in the DC market during Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. It’ll be interesting to see how well this is received by a larger audience.
