American college students are idiots who know squat about the Gettysburg Address

So Tuesday marked the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address, the greatest speech delivered in American history and one of the greatest speeches ever delivered in all of history, period.

Dan Joseph, video reporter for the Media Research Center, took the opportunity of this momentous anniversary to quiz students at George Mason University in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C. about the famous, stirring speech.

The results — at least the ones captured in this terrifying clip — are simply epically sad if you are remotely concerned about government of the people, by the people, for the people perishing from the earth.

The Daily Caller wishes it had something witty or insightful to say about this video, but what is there to say, really? The footage speaks all too eloquently, in its own awful way, about the sorry state of American education.
