Justin Bieber may have (allegedly) slept with a Panamanian prostitute, been caught at a Brazilian brothel, illegally graffitied an abandoned Brazilian hotel and paid 20 strippers $10,000 to dance naked at his Los Angeles house party — all within the past three weeks, mind you — but he doesn’t “give a fuck” what you think about it.
Bieber told The Hollywood Reporter in its Nov. 29 cover story that he ignores the media scrutiny and is “happy with the man I’m becoming.”
“I don’t give a fuck,” Bieber told THR. “Not ‘I don’t give a fuck’ to just be reckless and do whatever, but ‘I don’t give a fuck what they say.’ … I know who I am and what I’m doing in my life and what I’ve accomplished and continue to accomplish as a performer, as a writer, as an artist, as a person, as a human being. I’m happy with the man I’m becoming.”
But Bieber’s rep, Scooter Braun, said that the 19-year-old kid who pays him a percentage of his giant fortune has no problems. “The rumors were coming so fast and furious that we couldn’t address all of them. Say whatever the fuck you want. Justin’s not going to go crazy. He’s not going to end up in rehab. He’s not going to end up a statistic. Nine months ago, they said he lost his mind — he hasn’t missed a show since. So we’re just going to shut up.”
However! The interview took place on Oct. 19. On Nov. 10, Bieber abruptly ended a show in Buenos Aires because of “food poisoning” and definitely not because of a hangover.
In conclusion Bieber will not apologize for his behavior, but even more egregiously, he will not apologize for his terrible music.
