Charles Krauthammer thinks MSNBC host Chris Matthews is “a great spokesman for his side” even if he says he disagrees “with just about everything [Matthews] thinks.”
“But that doesn’t mean he is necessarily wrong,” Krauthammer quipped to The Daily Caller. “I think it is extremely likely that it means he is wrong, but I wouldn’t say that it is 100 percent certain.”
TheDC recently conducted an extensive interview with Krauthammer in his Washington office about his new book, “Things That Matter: Three Decades of Passions, Pastimes and Politics.” In this segment of the interview, Krauthammer talks about his relationship with Matthews and the current state of the New Republic magazine, the left-of-center publication Krauthammer began writing for when he got into journalism.
