A University of Colorado Denver employee is under investigation for allegedly running a phone-sex operation while on the job, according to an investigation by Denver’s CBS4.
The station reported that Resa Cooper-Morning, the cultural diversity coordinator with the university’s Ethnic Studies department, ran a side business that included a soft-porn website featuring herself and a $1.49-per-minute phone sex line that she advertised “will rock every part of your body!”
University employees are allowed to moonlight in their off hours, but administrators are concerned because the hours of the phone sex business were advertised as Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to late night. Cooper-Manning’s work hours at CU-Denver are from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays, CBS4 reported.
“The University of Colorado Denver takes this allegation very seriously,” CU Denver Vice Chancellor of Communications Leanna Clark told CBS4 when it informed her of Cooper-Morning’s sex businesses.
Cooper-Morning is on paid administrative leave pending a full investigation.
In addition to the phone sex line, 54-year-old Cooper-Morning also ran a subscription porn website called “A Nubian Princess,” which appears to have been taken offline. CBS4 reported that the site featured pictures of Cooper-Morning posing nude. A members-only section allowed subscribers “to view dozens of low budget, soft core videos starring Cooper-Morning,” the station reported.
“One is entitled ‘Erotica in Pink,’ another ‘Ride Her Pony!’ while a 2013 offering is called ‘Vanilla Cocoa Butter Oil.’”
Cooper-Morning’s daughter-in-law, who admitted that she’s in a spat with Cooper-Morning, told the station that Cooper-Morning operated the phone sex line while on the job at CU.
“She is taking calls at work,” Blair Cooper said. “I’ve been in her office and she’s said, ‘Oh, let me be right back I have a phone call.’ She takes them very discreetly, shuts her door [and] takes phone sex calls on CU of Denver’s pay.”
“As a taxpayer I think this is wrong that she is doing this on our dollar,” she said.
Cooper-Morning has worked at CU-Denver since 1992 and earns $68,000 per year. She was honored by the university in 2008 for her service to her department and the community.
