Bags of heroin labeled ‘Obama Care’ discovered in Massachusetts

Massachusetts State Police made four arrests Friday morning after troopers discovered 1,250 small bags of heroin, some labeled “Obama Care” and others marked “Kurt Cobain,” according to local reports.

Trooper Joseph Petty discovered the contraband after stopped the drug-toting foursome during a traffic stop after witnessing the vehicle make “several violations,” according to CBS Boston.

Petty stopped the vehicle in Hatfield and determined the driver was not licensed. Upon noting evidence of narcotics, he called in the K-9 unit.

Trooper David Stucenski and K-9 Frankie then located the 1,250 bags of uniquely marked heroin.

All four suspects were arrested and charged with trafficking heroin, conspiracy to violate drug laws and possession to distribute a Class A substance. The driver of the vehicle Tyler Robenstein, age 23, from Colchester, Vt., was also charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding and failure to change lanes for an emergency vehicle.

Robenstein’s cohorts were also in their early twenties: Colchester, Vt.’s Ashley Beaulieu, 21, Newark, NJ’s Marquese Jones, 22 and Sherod Green, 21.
