Director Michael Bay had some technical difficulties during a Samsung news conference at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show, where he was supposed to talk about the company’s new line of curved UHD TVs.

A malfunctioning teleprompter was the apparent culprit, causing Bay to lose his place and storm off the stage in embarrassment.
“Wow! I just embarrassed myself at CES,” Bay said on his blog after the Monday afternoon event.
“I was about to speak for Samsung for this awesome Curved 105-inch UHD TV. I rarely lend my name to any products, but this one is just stellar. I got so excited to talk, that I skipped over the Exec VP’s intro line and then the teleprompter got lost. Then the prompter went up and down – then I walked off. I guess live shows aren’t my thing,” Bay said.
Bay will be featuring “a special curved screen experience ” with Transformers 4 footage on Samsung’s new TV, which will make its way around the world ahead of the film’s anticipated release date in early summer 2014.
