Pedestrians in New York City got the living daylights scared out of them thanks to a prank for an upcoming movie. NYC-based viral marketing company Thinkmodo created the spine-chilling stunt for the movie “Devil’s Due,” an upcoming horror movie.
In the clip, a remote-controlled stroller zooms around the city, stopping every so often to let people peer inside, only to find a demonic-looking, animatronic baby. Michael Krivicka of Thinkmodo told Yahoo! Movies that the prank was amusing to watch.
He said, “Since the stroller was remote controlled as well, we decided to have some fun with it and have the stroller approach specific groups of people — some walking, some sitting around enjoying a hot coffee. Lots of fun reactions there.”
Despite potentially being upsetting, he said most people were fine with being spooked by the undead youngin’. “People were totally cool with being in the video after getting the living hell scared out of them. Each reaction ended with a laugh, and everyone loved the look of the baby.”
Would you be fine with a possessed infant popping up at you? Take a look.
