Several arrests have been made in connection with Philip Seymour Hoffman’s apparent heroin overdose over the weekend, the New York Times reports.

Hoffman was found on Sunday morning with a hyperbolic needle in his left arm. There were reportedly 50 to 70 heroin baggies found in his Manhattan apartment.

Some of the bags were labeled “Ace of Spades” or “Ace of Hearts,” two especially dangerous brands of heroin.

Three men and one woman were arrested Tuesday night after more than 350 bags of heroin were found in an apartment after a police raid.

TMZ reports that a heroin user contacted police with information about who Hoffman was buying from and said that the Oscar-winning actor would buy in “bundles” twice per week.

One of the dealers would apparently run out of his supply and then give his buyers dangerous “cheap shit heroin.”

The New York Police Department has not released the names of the people arrested, but according to TMZ that dealer is Robert Vineberg, who has played saxophone with Mick Jagger, Amy Winehouse, Wyclef Jean, Tom Jones and David Bowie.
