In an utterly shocking twist to Wednesday’s bombshell report that President Bill Clinton was diddling British actress Elizabeth Hurley for a year thanks to Tom Sizemore, the actor now says it isn’t true. You just don’t expect a heroin addict to lie like this.

Sizemore told HuffPost Live that he doesn’t remember making an audio recording (obtained by Radar and a British tabloid) of his tall tale about the time he introduced Clinton to Hurley after a 1998 White House screening of “Black Hawk Down.”

In the recording, Sizemore recalls how Clinton begged him for Hurley’s phone number with this gem: “Give [her number] to me. You dumb motherfucker, I’m the Commander-in-Chief of the United States of America. The buck stops here. Give me the damn number.”

Sizemore also recalled a totally believable phone call from Clinton to Hurley that led to the affair: “Elizabeth, this is your Commander-in-Chief,” Clinton said to Hurley. “Listen Elizabeth, this is the President! I don’t have any time for this shit. I‘m keeping the world from nuclear war all the time. I’m sending a plane to pick you up.”

But now Sizemore says that he doesn’t remember saying any of these things. “I’ve never met former President Clinton, I’ve never known him to know Ms. Hurley,” Sizemore said. “I’m not denying that I said these things … I don’t remember saying these things. My perceptions were not the greatest.” Yeah, no kidding.

Sizemore says that he has been sober since 2009, but Radar claims that the audio was recorded in January of this year, so either the drug addled actor is lying or the totally reputable online tabloid is.
