MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinksi wasn’t on the program this morning to defend her breath, leaving her open to public humiliation by colleagues Joe Scarborough and Willie Geist. While namedropping about their time at weekend Oscar parties, Scarborough, a potential presidential hopeful for 2016, said TV producer and writer Larry David kept trying to help Mika freshen her breath.
Scarborough said he and Mika ran into David twice – once at their rep Ari Emanuel‘s party Friday, and again Sunday at Graydon Carter‘s Vanity Fair party. “Here here, come here and he takes out a breath mint and gives it to her,” says Scarborough. “I’m thinking this is what Larry does. On Sunday, he’s gone up to drops. ‘Open your mouth, open your mouth.'” Geist chimed in, “Was it just Mika or is it his thing he does to people?”
Scarborough replied, “It was just Mika. I didn’t see him do that to Jennifer Lawrence.”
The Mirror certainly opens she gets the opportunity to speak up later in the week.
