Texas Republican Rep. Ralph Hall is the oldest sitting House member, and on Tuesday, he is hoping to fend off primary challengers hoping to kick him out of his seat for having been around too long.

The World War II veteran is 90- years old, but in a hilarious campaign ad, Hall says he is not too old to serve his constituents because “By gosh, I’ve got room for a few more wrinkles.”

Hall is facing a challenge from John Ratcliffe, a well-funded opponent who has the potential to oust the longtime congressman.

Also facing a primary challenge Tuesday is House Rules Committee Chairman and former National Republican Congressional Committee Pete Sessions, who is being challenged by tea party activist Katrina Pierson. Texas Republican Sen. John Cornyn is fighting off a challenge from Rep. Steve Stockman, who has mounted a quixotic campaign, along with several other candidates including Dwayne Stovall, who produced this gem of an ad.
