In a very competitive field, Seth Meyers is making a strong case that he is the most liberal host in the late night game.
Like a little girl having Justin Bieber over for a tea party, Meyers slobbered over MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow during her appearance on his “Late Night with Seth Meyers” Wednesday morning.
“You’re like basically my dream woman,” the NBC host gushed at one point.
“We have so much in common,” he said later in the interview.
Throughout the interview, Meyers expressed no skepticism over Maddow’s statements, no matter how ludicrous. He even expressed support for Maddow’s obsessive coverage of Chris Christie and his Bridgegate scandal.
“The developments are incredible to me,” Meyers told Maddow. “And it is that interesting thing because I feel like Christie and his supporters are like, ‘aren’t we done talking about this?’ They are like, ‘I think we’ve all moved on from Bridgegate.’ You’re like, ‘no, that’s like a prisoner being like, ‘ I think I’ve served enough time. I’d like to go home now.'”
