It’s Katie Couric‘s coming out party for Yahoo! News. The perky, peppy anchor made things official with her debut interview with former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg released today. This is Bloomberg’s first interview since leaving office. Couric did a test run in January with former Defense Sec. Robert Gates. That interview, a test segment, was also released to the public.
Several of the questions Couric asked came from viewer submissions to her Tumblr page.
Some of the issues addressed: raising the minimum wage, climate change, education and charter schools, why he marched in the St. Patrick’s Day parade, gun control, public health and more.
