A 9-month-old boy in Pakistan appeared in court for charges of planning a murder, threatening police, and interfering in state affairs. These completely logical charges were brought after the infant’s father brought him along to a protest over an electricity shortage.

Police allege that baby Muhammad Mosa Khan was pelting them with stones, reports the BBC. Baby Khan went to court, sat in his dad’s lap and drank out of a bottle. The court was adjourned until April 12.

Luckily, there’s some sanity coming from Punjab’s Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. Minister Sharif has suspended the assistant superintendent who filed the charges and is investigating further into the police who levied these charges.
