Beauty queen, model and commercial actress Katherine Webb is now engaged to former Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron, so naturally the power couple are going to have a TV show about planning their wedding.
Webb’s sister Laurie said the cameras were already rolling during the proposal. She told the Auburn Plainsman, “They’ve already started filming during the proposal. From what I understood, it came from someone else. I don’t think they were trying to get into a reality show, I think they just had the opportunity and decided to take it.”
Katherine Webb became an overnight star after she was shown in the stands for the 2013 BCS Championship game and announcer Brent Musburger verbally fawned over her. She has since modeled in Sports Illustrated and starred in a salacious Carl’s Jr. ad.
Webb’s parents are fine with the reality show — as long as it’s wholesome. Sister Laurie said, “They think it’s a great opportunity. They can also have a documentation of special times during their life, which will be kind of cool.”
It’s not like AJ McCarron has anything else to be doing, like preparing for the NFL draft or anything.
