Here’s the job description as reported by AdWeek: 135+ hours of work a week, on call all the time, knowledge of psychology, medicine, personal finance, culinary arts, and tech skills, ability to stand for hours, lift 75 pounds, and work on minimal sleep.

There’s no incentive here. Give up your life and get basically nothing, except “infinite opportunities for personal growth and rewards. Emotional fulfillment and extraordinary impact on associate success provides a lifetime of purpose and meaningful connection,” the job description states.

Sold?

Rehtom Inc. recently released this job description to try to fill their new position, Director of Operations. Despite not being offered medical or dental benefits, pension, or paid holidays, AdWeek reported that 24 people responded to this job posting. Each applicant was interviewed via webcam. This project was completed by advertising agency Mullen in Boston through Rehtom Inc.

All of this may be a ploy, but American Greetings and Cardstore make you wait until the end of the video to find out. When you’re done watching the video, check out other responses from viewers on Twitter with the hashtag #worldstoughestjob.
