Craig Robinson, brother to first lady Michelle Obama, has been fired from his job coaching Oregon State basketball.

Oregon State announced Monday it is releasing Robinson after six disappointing seasons.

He began at Oregon State in 2008, the same year Obama took office. The summer of the same year, Robinson introduced Michelle at the Democratic National Convention.

In his six years, Robinson had a 94-105 record and never managed to take the Beavers to the NCAA tournament. Since he still has three more years in his contract, Oregon State will likely owe Robinson more than $4 million, Sports Illustrated reports.
