John Podesta, special adviser to President Barack Obama and founder of the progressive think tank Center for American Progress, lambasted climate change critics at the White House Monday.

Speaking as part of an update on “Energy and the Economy” prepared by the Council of Economic Advisers, Podesta lashed out at critics of climate change saying, “Look out your window, you’ll  begin to feel the effects. Ninety-seven percent of scientists agree that there is an overwhelming amount of evidence that exists that climate change is real, it’s happening, it’s caused by the Co2 pollution and pollutants that we are putting in to our air that cause climate change.”

“It’s well known science now,” he continued before finishing up: “If you want to try to try to side with the polluters and argue to the American public that climate change is not happening, today, tomorrow and certainly in the future that’s going to be a losing argument

Democrats  have routinely dismissed any critics regarding climate change or global warming. The administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, Gina McCarthy, went as far as telling an audience at the National Academy of Sciences that the agency will go after a “small but vocal group of critics” who are arguing the EPA is using “secret science” to push costly clean air regulations.
