Reporter Tim Mak is on the move again. This time, he’s off to The Daily Beast. Formerly with Politico, he went to work for the Washington Examiner less than a year ago in June of 2103.
“Hey folks — Just quick note that I’ll be joining The Daily Beast as a senior congressional correspondent later this month. At the Beast, I’ll be the lead reporter covering Capitol Hill, with an awesome team that includes editors John Avlon and Noah Shachtman, as well as reporters Eli Lake, Josh Rogin, Ben Jacobs and Will O’Connor, among others. And I’ll hopefully also be dabbling occasionally in areas I’m really interested in but haven’t had a chance to write about: hip-hop, culture and race.”
Mak told The Mirror, “Excited to join such a talented team, and ready to go after some scoops! Like [Seattle Seahawks running back] Marshawn Lynch, I’m gearing up for Beast Mode.”
