Is today Well-Meaning But Ineffectual Lefty Hashtag Campaign Day? I guess that’s every day, really…
Check out the latest nonsense from Moms Demand Action:
Please SIGN our petition asking @JackBox to keep guns out of its restaurants: http://t.co/wwv6aXoq2T #JackedUp pic.twitter.com/9yJbklEAkd

Okay, let’s get one thing out of the way right up front: @JackBox is the worst Twitter handle ever. If the visitor isn’t sure whether you’re a fast-food chain or a porn site, it’s time to fire your social-media team.
That being said, why are these moms demanding that Jack in the Box restaurants turn themselves into targets for gun violence? Most mass shootings occur in “gun-free zones,” because mass-shooters don’t care about signs. A “gun-free zone” is the safest place you can be, if you don’t want to get killed while you’re shooting people.
If you disagree, gun-grabber, then please explain why this place isn’t a gun-free zone:

There are more guns in and around that place than an NRA convention. If you don’t think you’d be safe there, why not?
What’s that you say? It’s not the gun, it’s the person carrying it? Guns don’t kill people, people kill people?
Well, how about that.
Meanwhile, Dana Loesch, who is a favorite target of Moms Demand Action, reminds us that there’s an extra level to their stupid hypocrisy:
Calling on Bloomberg’s @MomsDemand to enforce a “no guns for their security” policy at their rallies cc @jackbox
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) May 8, 2014
Join me in asking @MikeBloomberg ‘s @MomsDemand group to go firearms-free at their rallies. @jackbox
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) May 8, 2014
Pretty unfair that @mikebloomberg ‘s @MomsDemand carry guns while demanding @jackbox ignore state conceal and open carry laws.
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) May 8, 2014
Bearing that in mind, I’ll let you know if I get an answer to my question:
.@MomsDemand So you’re going to make your security wait outside while you go into @JackBox?
— Jim Treacher (@jtLOL) May 8, 2014
Seriously, though, @JackBox is just… Some guy already took @jackinthebox, but there must be a better Twitter handle they can use. At the time of this writing, nobody has taken @NothingBetterNearby.
Is their skin any tougher than their burgers? We’ll see.
