This news should excite those of you who were teenage boys when “Return of the Jedi” came out in 1983.

Carrie Fisher, who returns as Princess Leia in the forthcoming “Star Wars: Episode VII,” is getting back into gold bikini shape.

Now 57, Fisher (who was 28 when she starred in “Return of the Jedi”) has been very candid about her alcoholism and weight gain since her Princess Leia days and is apparently determined to be the fantasy of many a teenage boy again.

“I’m glad they are doing a new movie because they are sending a trainer to my house so I can get in really good shape,” Fisher recently told The Sun.

Fisher’s mother, actress Debbie Reynolds, also told Extra that she had been working out to get into gold bikini shape.

Reynolds said: “She’s very excited about it… she’s been on a diet ever since, because you know they have to be up to par, so she looks terrific, she’s lost 40 pounds.”
