Does that question make you angry? Now you know how it feels.
Congressional District 1 candidate Gary Kiehne made extreme comments about gun rights at a Republican primary debate Saturday.
Asked how he would protect gun rights, Kiehne said he owns more guns and ammunition than the other candidates and said everyone should own a gun.
When it comes to mass shootings, “if you look at all the fiascos that have occurred, 99 percent of them have been by Democrats pulling their guns out and shooting people,” Kiehne said to an audience of about 60 people.
This is making Democrats furious, of course, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true.
Is turnabout fair play? Every time somebody commits a mass murder — whether by gun, bomb, plane, or any other means — our moral, ethical, and intellectual betters in the media try to pin it on right-wingers. What percentage of the time are they correct about that? It’s a lot lower than 99%, that’s for sure. And Dems certainly aren’t shy about calling conservatives “terrorists,” “hostage-takers,” and anything else they like, just for opposing their moronic leftist policies.
It’s not much fun being blamed for something you didn’t do, is it, Dems? Maybe you’ll remember that in the future. But it’s highly unlikely.
