Friends come in all shapes and sizes, and in this case, species. Mr. G the goat, and Jellybean, the burro, lived together on the neglected property of a hoarder for 10 years.
Two sanctuaries were able to rescue the friends, but neither could take both. Mr. G went to Animal Place, a sanctuary in Grass Valley, Calif. It became apparent very quickly that Mr. G was not doing well without Jellybean. He refused to eat and sat in the corner of his pen for six days before staff decided the pair must be reunited.
Their reunion at Animal Place is nothing short of adorable. Mr. G hops back to life, running around the pen in typical happy-goat style, before settling down to a nice meal with his best friend.
