Newly leaked photos from the super-secret set of “Star Wars: Episode VII” in Abu Dhabi signaled a return to the series film roots Monday, as director J.J. Abrams appears to be building live sets complete with manned aliens — a step back from the CGI-heavy second trilogy.
Photographs leaked to TMZ show tangible buildings and creatures as part of a ramshackle marketplace — likely the Skywalkers’ home planet of Tatooine — along with a giant creature reportedly controlled from the inside by five people.
