Terrafugia, a company that aims to create flying automobiles, claims that it will put a flying cars on the market in the next two years, Boston Business Journal reports.

The Transition, the model which Terrafugia hopes to complete by 2016, is “a two-place, fixed wing, street legal, airplane which has been internationally heralded as the ‘first practical flying car.’ It is designed to fit in a single car garage, be safely driven on the highway, and be flown in and out of general aviation airports.”

Although in its final stage of development, Terrafugia may have a last obstacle to dodge before completing the product: raising $30 million in funding.

“Many were promised a flying car when they were younger and now they can get one,” Terrafugia’s CEO Carl Dietrich said.
