This son promised his dad when he was 8 that he’d buy him a 57 Chevy Bel Air for his 57th birthday, so he did. And then he graciously posted footage of the surprise on YouTube.
The description accompanying it is almost as heartwarming as the video itself:
“Growing up my dad always dreamed of owning a 57 chevy bel-air. He grew up poor in a family of 7 children. He never thought he would be able to own his dream vehicle but would talk about it all the time. When I was 8 years old I promised him that on his 57th birthday I would buy him a 57 bel-air. I never forgot and was able to fulfill my promise.”

He explains in the description that he’s been showing his Dad pictures of the car for over 2 years, while he waited to give it to him. “He would get so excited and talk about owning something like that but that he ‘knew her [sic] never would be able to.'”
