Close to 100 Chile fans stormed Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro Wednesday to get into the arena before the match against Spain. They broke the barriers, rushed past the security guards and into the media room, causing minor damage along the way.

Most of the rushing fans did not have tickets to the game, reports ESPN. Some were able to get through the press area and into the center, but police were able to detain some.
Security guard Diego Goncalves said, “I was the lone guy standing out there. All of a sudden they knocked down the fence and just pushed their way through.”
