LeBron James might soon be taking his talents away from South Beach in the worst sequel ever.

According to Chris Broussard’s Twitter, the Miami Heat phenom has decided to opt out of his contract, making him a free agent.

After getting routed by the San Antonio Spurs in the finals 4-1, arguably the league’s best player will be on the open market, with teams sure to clamor for his services akin to 2010, when James left the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Perhaps previewing his decision, and a possible return to Cleveland, was his wife’s Instagram photo with a picture of Ohio and the cryptic message “Home sweet home!! The countdown is real! #330.”

James joins a stellar free-agent class that includes Carmelo Anthony, Dirk Nowitzki and Luol Deng. The class could also include Heat guard Dwayne Wade and forward Chris Bosh, who have the same opt out clauses as James.

The NBA free agency period begins July 1.
