“Community” will officially return for a sixth season, thanks to Yahoo.

The hit TV comedy producer Sony Pictures Television made a deal with Yahoo to stream a 13-episode sixth season, Vulture reports. Dan Harmon will be back as showrunner.

“I am very pleased that Community will be returning for its predestined sixth season on Yahoo,” Harmon said in a statement. “I look forward to bringing our beloved NBC sitcom to a larger audience by moving it online. I vow to dominate our new competition. Rest easy, ‘Big Bang Theory.’ Look out, ‘Bang Bus!’

NBC canceled “Community” in May, and Sony Pictures Television has been searching for a new home ever since. But the announcement comes as a surprise, after the other major networks and Hulu passed on a sixth season.

NBCUniversal-owned Universal Television will remain a co-producer on the show, and Chris McKenna is in talks to return as executive producer.

There’s no official word on a movie, but Vulture reports discussions are happening.
