The first trailer for season five of “The Walking Dead” debuted at San Diego Comic-Con 2014 on Friday, and there finally appears to be some hope on the horizon for the zombie apocalypse’s favorite cast of survivors.
Season four ended with the group captured by another band of survivors holed up in an abandoned railway yard. Their chances of survival look grim (surprise) until the hostage takers learn the solution to the outbreak may lie in sending Rick and the others to Washington, D.C.
If the trailer is any indication, threats, conflict, ambushes and bullet-ridden corpses will abound all the way there.
