Beyonce and Jay Z took their “On the Run” tour to the Rose Bowl Saturday night, and a 25-year-old San Diego man allegedly groped a woman during the concert and then bit off her boyfriend’s fingertip when he intervened, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reports.
Pasadena police officers said they arrested Roberto Alcaraz-Garnica inside the stadium with charges of sexual battery and mayhem. Maybem is legally defined by police as “disabling or disfiguring a part of a victim’s body.” The woman who Alcaraz-Garnica groped was in her 20s, according to police.
Police arrested and jailed Alcaraz-Garnica with a bail of $100,00 pending his initial court appearance.
An estimated 55,000 people attended the concert, where 11 people were arrested mostly for drunkenness or ticket scalping, inlcuding Alcaraz-Garnica. The Carter couple continued their tour Sunday night with a second Rose Bowl performance. No reports of dismembered body parts during that show have surfaced.
