New York City police arrested the least smooth criminal in the whole city Tuesday morning, after he attempted to steal money from the coffee cart in front of the New York Police Department headquarters in Manhattan.
According to the cart owner, 90 percent of the coffee cart’s customers are NYPD cops. The arrested man allegedly grabbed the coffee cart’s tip jar and ran. The tip jar only had $20 in it.
New York Times police reporter J. David Goodman tweeted out a photo of the man being held by police in One Police Plaza. The NYPD does not have any further information about the man or the robbery.

"Ninety percent of the customers are cops," said John who runs the cart. The man snatched tip jar with $20. "People do stupid things, man."
