Students with kinky fetishes would find a home in the University of Chicago’s Risk-Awareness Consensual Kink (RACK) club, The College Fix reports.

RACK is planning to take students to Galleria Domain 2 (GD2), which describes itself as “Chicago’s premier kink club.”

“GD2 boasts a 4000+ square foot play space with three rooms of unique, high quality BDSM furniture, two social areas, and a library,” GD2’s website says. “Open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, GD2 is the place to explore and satisfy your fetish, kink, leather, and BDSM fantasies in the windy city.”

When requesting for funding to go the sex club, RACK argued at the University of Chicago’s Student Government Finance Committee’s board meeting that GD2 would give students “the opportunity to engage in BDSM activities that are not suitable/appropriate for spaces that students have access to,” according to the minutes. RACK also described GD2 as “Chicago’s biggest dungeon.”

The club admitted though that “advertising the event would be a bit strange/complicated to manage.”

Naturally, the committee voted unanimously 5-0 to give RACK $300 for its members to partake in trial memberships for GD2.

However, a University of Chicago spokesperson told The College Fix that RACK hasn’t “spent any of the funds that the Student Government Finance Committee considered for this purpose,” and “the Office of Campus and Student Life is still reviewing the proposal and working with members of the student group.”

The events page on the University of Chicago’s website has the event listed as “TENTATIVE: RACK goes to GD2,” with a scheduled date for August 30 from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m, with a $25 cost.
